About the role#
The Student Activity Coordinator manages programs related to student health and activities within the School of Nursing. This role requires minimal supervision and involves providing informal counseling to students to support their academic and personal success.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate programs focused on student health and activities.
- Provide informal counseling sessions to students.
- Teach an introductory course covering learning strategies.
- Work with students on an individual basis to enhance their study skills.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Counseling, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience in academic and vocational counseling.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Counseling, Education, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience counseling high school and college-age students.
