About the role#
This position is for students currently enrolled in a Providence Nursing Assistant Training program. You will work under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manager or their designee. Your primary focus is ensuring patient safety and comfort while you gain practical experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform close, continuous observation to ensure patient safety.
- Document all patient observation and care activities.
- Maintain a safe patient care environment.
- Complete non-direct patient care duties as assigned.
- Carry out basic patient care tasks as delegated by a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain American Heart Association National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of at least two months of successful employment and good standing to be accepted into the NAC Training Program.
