About the role#
This Systems Engineering internship is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. This role requires an active and transferable U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this clearance.
What you'll do#
- Develop concepts and requirements, including decomposition and flow-down.
- Create and design Concepts of Operations (CONOPS).
- Collaborate with customers to deliver new capabilities to the warfighter.
- Optimize algorithms and perform trade studies for fielded systems.
- Conduct functional analysis of real-world and test data.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary development efforts for Air and Missile Defense Systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with requirements development or working within a team to reach technical goals.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of radar systems, such as the Patriot system, is preferred.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is a plus.
