About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern to support Special Operations Aviation (SOA) helicopter programs. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You will work on avionics solutions and contribute to the integration of products into helicopter upgrade programs.
What you'll do#
- Perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for SOA helicopter programs.
- Create design artifacts and document engineering decisions.
- Execute test procedures and perform system testing in a lab environment.
- Design system solutions to integrate products into complex military upgrade programs.
- Use tools such as DOORS, JIRA, PREP, and SVN to manage project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- Status as a U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations.
