About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the Finance organization at Pratt & Whitney. You will support a Strategic Business Unit or functional area, gaining exposure to Raytheon products, customers, and internal processes. This is a full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop financial models and improve existing processes.
- Prepare individual and group projects for presentation to Finance leadership.
- Participate in weekly development sessions to build technical and soft skills.
- Support core finance functions including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Program/Contract Business Management, or Pricing/Proposal Development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.5 is desired.
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field is preferred.
- Experience leading team projects and participating in extracurricular activities.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience with RTX is a plus.
Location & details#
- The role is based in McKinney, Texas.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, with time split between onsite and offsite work as determined by your manager.
