About the role#
This is a full-time Project Engineering internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the engineering department to learn the design, test, analysis, and customer support processes for aircraft wheels, brakes, and braking systems. This role requires you to be a U.S. Person.
What you'll do#
- Take responsibility for specific engineering deliverables.
- Learn and follow internal engineering processes.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects.
- Gain exposure to various engineering disciplines based on business needs and your own interests.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams.
- Preference is given to candidates with prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
