About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for a Packaging Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney. You will work on-site in Andover, Massachusetts, supporting production programs and manufacturing activities. This role involves direct interaction with factory areas and requires U.S. citizenship to meet security clearance requirements.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain work instructions for the packaging and shipment of end items.
- Design and detail special material handling equipment and shipping containers.
- Use CREO software to generate 3-dimensional models and technical drawing packages.
- Determine appropriate packaging solutions for incoming hardware and assemblies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with packaging engineering processes and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
