About the role#
As a Mechatronics Intern, you will help develop actuator solutions for marine drive applications. These range from basic hydraulic to full electromechanical components. You will work in a multi-disciplinary design and lab environment to bridge the gap between electrical and mechanical engineering.
What you'll do#
- Process data using Matlab or Python.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to create actuator solutions.
- Provide mechanical and electrical troubleshooting support for new and existing products.
- Contribute to the data-based engineering community at Brunswick.
- Participate in DFMEA activities to support product improvements and new designs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, robotics engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Strong working knowledge of control systems, sensors, power electronics, and motors (brushed and brushless).
- Experience with DFMEA-based design methods.
- Availability to work full-time from May through August of 2027.

- Compensation: $18.00 - $27.50 per hour.
