About the role#
As a Supply Chain Co-op at Brunswick Corporation, you will work with supply chain professionals to manage supplier partners. These partners support the production of outboard and sterndrive motors for the recreational boating industry. You will operate in a manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environment while managing assigned projects and gaining hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Build working relationships with internal customers, partners, and the supplier base.
- Analyze material flow within operations to implement improvements and reduce waste.
- Process weekly MRP and initiate corrective actions to ensure accurate ordering and inventory control.
- Work with peers and suppliers to develop cost-effective inventory management practices, including pull, VMI, or consignment programs.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing issues to maintain supplier relationships and ensure material deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Ability to enroll in a formalized co-op program through your university.
- A dependable, self-motivated, and engaged approach to learning.
