    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time Mechanical Engineering internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Jamestown, North Dakota, supporting the development of aircraft mechanical cargo systems. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware and software designers, test engineers, and production staff.

    What you'll do#

    • Support design, integration, and testing of aircraft mechanical cargo systems.
    • Research, develop, and test mechanical components.
    • Resolve technical issues on production lines to keep operations running smoothly.
    • Use CAD software to create component designs and drawings.
    • Assist in technical preparations for new product development and implementation.
    • Consult with engineers, customers, and vendors on engineering projects.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
    • Active enrollment in your degree program through the end of the internship.
    • Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
