    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid Mechanical Engineering internship for Summer 2027 based in Burnsville, Minnesota. You will work on-site to help design, test, and troubleshoot sensors for the aviation industry. This role requires U.S. citizenship to access program information.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development and fabrication of various aerospace sensors.
    • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team on new product designs.
    • Investigate existing products to implement design improvements and update documentation.
    • Perform tolerance analyses on components and assemblies.
    • Use CAD solid modeling to prepare models and drawings.
    • Write test requests to support design verification and analyze the resulting data.
    • Specify material joining methods, including welding and brazing.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
    • Ability to remain enrolled through the end of the session.
    • Preferred experience includes CREO, ANSYS, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office.
    • Prior internship or work experience with the company is a plus.

    • Compensation: 37,000 USD to 82,000 USD.
