About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring an HF Systems Intern to join our team in Cedar Rapids. This is a part-time, on-site role for students currently enrolled in a STEM degree program. You will gain hands-on experience with HF radio technology, including how these systems function and how to operate them using specialized test equipment.
What you'll do#
- Perform systems engineering tasks including radio testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with requirements gathering and verification.
- Assemble and review technical documentation.
- Work across various engineering projects and processes to support team schedules.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the end of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Willingness to engage in a variety of engineering projects and documentation tasks.
