About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides exposure to Independent Risk Management (IRM). Interns gain hands-on experience with the key components of the risk framework, including segments such as Credit Risk, Enterprise Compliance, Operational Risk Management, and Independent Technology Risk Management. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic knowledge to core business activities and support internal projects under supervision.
- Engage in data analysis, metrics, research, reporting, and communications.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders on business challenges.
- Participate in networking, mentoring, and job shadowing opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with sophomore or junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Academic background in relevant fields such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Economics.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
