About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides exposure to Independent Risk Management (IRM) at PNC. Interns gain hands-on experience with the company's risk framework while working in a collaborative, professional environment. You will work under supervision on internal projects and engage with senior leaders and business stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic knowledge to core business activities and internal projects.
- Perform data analysis and manage metrics.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
- Conduct research, communications, and reporting tasks.
- Participate in networking, mentoring, and job shadowing opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with sophomore or junior status.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and attention to detail.
