About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Bothell, Washington. You will work with the Oral Healthcare Payer and Digital Solutions team to support UX designers on behavior change programs, mobile applications, and desktop software. This role requires a hybrid work schedule with in-person attendance.
What you'll do#
- Translate business requirements and user needs into interaction frameworks, concepts, scenarios, workflows, and wireframes.
- Conduct desktop research and lead analysis of user and stakeholder needs.
- Create user interface concepts, mockups, prototypes, and documentation.
- Develop information architectures and functional designs for application screens.
- Define and apply interface, interaction, and usability principles.
- Use sketching and prototyping skills to communicate concepts to marketing, software development, and customers.
- Identify opportunities and constraints within technology and platform decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for User Experience Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Interest in designing for the consumer space, mobile health, or the healthcare domain.
- A collaborative nature, a positive outlook, and a creative, curious, and empathetic mindset.
- Ability to see ideas through to completion.
- Must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
