About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Bothell, Washington. You will work on embedded systems and test automation within a health-tech environment. The role requires a hybrid or on-site presence, with office-based teams working in-person at least 3 days per week.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities to automate repeatable test procedures and build practical test solutions.
- Collaborate with embedded systems engineers to understand product behavior and validate solutions.
- Design, develop, and enhance automated test tools, scripts, fixtures, and supporting infrastructure.
- Collect, organize, and communicate test results through reporting and dashboards.
- Explore data analytics and AI-assisted methods to summarize test results and identify patterns.
- Deliver well-documented tools, prototypes, and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Foundational programming experience in Python, C, C++, or similar languages.
- Interest in embedded systems and troubleshooting software, hardware, and data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
