About the role#
This summer internship offers undergraduate students a chance to gain experience within the People & Culture organization at Philip Morris International. You will work on projects that support HR operations, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives. The program focuses on professional development, networking, and exposure to leadership teams. You will conclude the internship by presenting your project outcomes and recommendations to company leaders.
What you'll do#
- Support the operations team with daily tasks like data entry, document management, and process coordination.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems and databases.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and HR initiatives.
- Collaborate on projects covering onboarding, compliance, talent processes, and policy updates.
- Conduct research on HR trends and best practices.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Assist with audits, file maintenance, and ticket management.
- Support employee communications and engagement activities.
- Participate in process improvement projects to increase efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Preferred fields of study include Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Organizational Development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-service mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
