About the role#
The Human Resources Intern provides support to the HR department by assisting HR Business Partners and Specialists with various projects. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring the smooth administration of company policies. You will have the opportunity to interact with employees across all departments, including corporate offices, maintenance areas, and hangars.
What you'll do#
- Organize employee electronic and paper files to ensure accessibility.
- Assist with the new hire orientation process for all departments.
- Support the Employee Engagement and Refreshment Program by engaging with staff across the organization.
- Manage job postings by creating, updating, and removing ads from job boards and careers pages.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- Address employee queries regarding benefits and distribute company policies.
- Participate in organizing company events and career days.
- Assist with compensation analysis and prepare presentations for management review.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with an ability to apply concepts to practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of curiosity with the ability to evaluate multiple, competing viewpoints simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor and high attention to detail.
