About the role#
The Private Equity Analyst Intern supports business performance and profitability by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data. This role focuses on cost savings initiatives, process analysis, and accounting projects. You will work closely with leadership to resolve issues through root cause analysis and manage financial risks.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to the CFO.
- Manage bid processes by collecting data, performing analysis, and coordinating with departments involved in pricing.
- Produce reports covering key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
- Develop models to assist in business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis, or Financial Risk Management, with current enrollment in an MBA program.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage effectively through ambiguous and unstructured problems.
- High degree of curiosity and the ability to evaluate multiple, competing viewpoints simultaneously.
- Professionalism and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
