Operations, PE Analyst Intern

About the role#

The Operations, PE Analyst Intern will compile, analyze, interpret, and present data to support business performance and profitability. This role focuses on cost savings initiatives, process analysis, and accounting projects, requiring a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. You will work to resolve issues through root cause analysis and identify opportunities to manage risk and maximize business opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to the CFO.
• Manage bid processes by collecting and analyzing data while coordinating with relevant departments.
• Produce reports covering key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
• Develop models to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis, or Financial Risk Management, with current enrollment in an MBA program.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage effectively through ambiguous, unstructured problems.
• High level of curiosity and the ability to evaluate multiple, competing viewpoints simultaneously.
• High degree of professionalism and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
