About the role#
The QA Technology Analyst Intern supports the software quality assurance process at Phi Group. This role provides hands-on experience with manual testing, documentation, and defect validation while you learn industry standards. You will work directly with senior QA and engineering staff to ensure software reliability.
What you'll do#
- Execute manual test cases under the guidance of senior staff.
- Validate new features, bug fixes, and system integrations.
- Identify, document, and retest software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and regression testing cycles.
- Maintain test documentation, including checklists and test cases.
- Validate data accuracy through user interface checks and simple queries.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts throughout the testing process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of software development concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when tasks are unclear.
- Exposure to software testing or QA concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Introductory knowledge of SQL, data concepts, or web applications is a plus.
