About the role#
The HSEQ Intern supports the data entry, reporting, and compliance efforts for our HSEQ team. You will work across departments to identify ways to improve our current data collection and risk management processes. This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to manage unstructured tasks.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the data entry of historical information into new HSEQ software.
- Create reports for internal teams and external clients.
- Develop Microsoft PowerBI dashboards.
- Improve the search functionality and user convenience of our intranet page.
- Create workflows to support internal document control.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Data Management, HSEQ, Data Science, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguous problems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship located in Lafayette, Louisiana.
- The term is rolling.
