About the role#
Fischer Homes is seeking a Human Resources Co-Op for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Erlanger, Kentucky. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in HR operations, data analysis, and talent acquisition.
What you'll do#
- Document HR processes, identify concerns, and compile data analysis reports.
- Analyze statistics to identify trends in recruitment, turnover, and compliance.
- Create reports using Excel, PowerBI, payroll systems, and applicant tracking software.
- Support the Associate lifecycle by assisting with retention, engagement, and offboarding tasks.
- Help Recruiters manage the applicant tracking system, including sending assessments and scheduling interviews.
- Assist with HR projects such as budget tracking, newsletters, job postings, and event planning.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and sit for extended periods.
