About the role#
The HR Operations Intern supports our Human Resources team with onboarding, orientation, and day-to-day employee support. You will gain hands-on experience in HR processes, employee engagement, and internal operations while contributing to our company culture.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of local employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and resources.
- Assist the HR team with daily operations, administrative tasks, and internal communications.
- Update and maintain employee records in HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate recruitment logistics, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Prepare documentation and materials for HR audits and compliance reviews.
- Support the administration of employee benefits and wellness programs.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of internal HR newsletters.
- Participate in special projects aimed at improving processes or enhancing the employee experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Familiarity with HRIS or ATS platforms.
- Knowledge of basic HR functions, compliance requirements, and employment regulations.
- Strong organizational skills for managing records, schedules, and documentation.
- High attention to detail when reviewing applications, onboarding materials, and HR data.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Milford, Massachusetts.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
