About the role#
Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc is hiring a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rancho Cordova, California. You will work alongside HR professionals to gain experience with HR operations, technology systems, and various employee-focused initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Process HR paperwork and maintain employee records.
- Handle administrative tasks to support daily HR operations.
- Assist with HRIS projects and conduct system testing.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to provide feedback on system functionality and identify improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and HR initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Previous experience in administrative or customer service roles is a plus.
