About the role#
This 3-day sophomore externship program takes place in January 2027. It is designed to introduce students to the public and private credit businesses at PGIM. Participants will gain insight into the firm and explore potential internship and full-time career paths. This program also serves as an entry point for the 2028 Summer Internship Program, as participants will complete their first-round interviews during the externship.
What you'll do#
- Attend training sessions and work through case studies focused on public and private credit.
- Network with analysts, associates, and senior leaders across the firm.
- Shadow investment professionals to observe their daily work.
- Complete first-round interviews for the 2028 Summer Internship Program.
- Explore career opportunities within the asset management and finance sectors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program with a graduation date between December 2028 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated interest in asset management, investments, and finance.
- Requisite US employment authorization, as visa sponsorship is not provided for this program.
- While all majors are welcome, students in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics are encouraged to apply.

- Location: Prudential Headquarters, Newark, New Jersey.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5-7, 2027).
- Modality: This is an on-site program. Travel and lodging are provided for selected participants.
