About the role#
The Estimating Analyst intern supports the estimating team by auditing existing takeoffs, collecting data, and helping with variance and budget audits. You will work on reports, maintain spreadsheets, and identify cost trends that fall outside of standard tolerances.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Sr. Estimating Analyst with running reports and formatting data analysis templates.
- Review blueprints and takeoffs to gather data for future reporting.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets for data collection.
- Identify items and quantities in takeoffs that fall outside of typical usage.
- Analyze budgets and variances to spot cost trends.
- Coordinate with the team to update takeoffs and complete special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Operations Management.
- High School Diploma.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

- This internship is based in Houston, Texas.
- The role is a hybrid position.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
