About the role#
Perry Homes is hiring for a Construction Management Internship for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will support the Construction Management Team by assisting with projects related to home construction, quality control, customer service, and safety processes.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply construction procedures, from sheetrock tape and float through to home completion.
- Assist in planning and coordinating warranty service according to company policy.
- Inspect warranty work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Evaluate materials and workmanship during and after installation for quality control.
- Monitor compliance with the subdivision safety program and report any violations.
- Build professional relationships with homeowners, trades, and sales staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program, preferably in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
- A High School Diploma.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
