About the role#
The Estimating Analyst Student Worker supports the Estimating team by auditing takeoffs and managing data. You will work with the Sr. Estimating Analyst to review budgets and identify cost trends. This is a hybrid role based in Houston, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Audit existing takeoffs and review them to find items or quantities outside of typical usage.
- Coordinate with the team to update takeoffs as necessary.
- Run reports and format templates to analyze data.
- Analyze variances and budgets to identify cost trends.
- Review blueprints to collect data for future reporting.
- Create, organize, and maintain spreadsheets.
- Complete special projects as requested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university and a High School Diploma.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
