About the role#
The Accounting Intern works within our Accounting department to support the recording, analysis, and communication of financial results. You will gain hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting while collaborating with our team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare bank account reconciliations.
- Review and record company credit card transactions.
- Maintain schedules and reports to track financial activity.
- Handle monthly reporting for sales, releases, and closings.
- Assist with the lot acquisition process and the calculation of home sales prices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university, preferably pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Houston, Texas.
- The internship is for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a full-time role requiring at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is paid.
