About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and professional development within the homebuilding process. You will be assigned to a primary department or functional area to gain exposure to daily operations, project work, and administrative support. The program includes departmental rotations, research, reporting, and jobsite observation to help you explore career paths within the company.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations at your assigned office, field location, or jobsite.
- Assist with projects, research, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Learn and apply industry terminology, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to support business operations.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Conduct business in a professional, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Work overtime and travel as needed, including occasional overnight trips.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university as a junior or senior, or a recent graduate.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Operations Management, or another relevant field.
- Interest in learning about careers in homebuilding, financial services, land development, or corporate operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree may also be considered.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This role may involve on-site, remote, or hybrid work settings depending on the assignment.
