About the role#
We are looking for a Technology Analyst Student to join our team in Edmonton for an 8-month term starting in January 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Assist in provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining mission-critical cloud infrastructure.
- Remediate incident escalations from customers, vendors, and other Business Technology teams.
- Help develop and maintain policies and governance for our cloud infrastructure.
- Support Research and Development initiatives, including participating in Proof-of-Concepts.
- Maintain accurate system documentation.
- Help the team define business processes and application requirements for projects.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a management information systems, information technology, computer engineering, or operations management program.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a team and adapt to change.
- An interest in staying current with technology trends.
- Willingness to learn programming or scripting languages like PowerShell or .NET for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, scripting best practices, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
