About the role#
We are looking for a Planning, Scheduling and Lean Student to join our North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, starting in January 2027 for a duration of 8 months. You will work on-site as part of the Corporate Planning, Scheduling and Lean Department.
What you'll do#
- Organize, validate, and clean up data for the team.
- Help plan and coordinate the PCL Planning, Scheduling and Lean Conference.
- Research AI, automation, and digital tools for planning and scheduling.
- Track project updates, action items, and governance activities.
- Prepare reports, training materials, and presentations.
- Provide general administrative and project support.
What you'll need#
- A strong desire to work in construction. Prior field experience is helpful.
- Proficiency with computer software, specifically word processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong skills in planning, organization, and data analysis.
- Methodical problem-solving abilities and a focus on process documentation.
- Excellent communication and visualization skills.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Acumen Fuse and Risk is an advantage.
- Experience with Power BI is an asset.
