About the role#
This position supports enterprise HR programs and initiatives focused on culture, team effectiveness, and the employee experience. You will gain practical experience by helping teams and leaders contribute to organizational success. This is a full-time, paid position based in Edmonton, Alberta, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Lead student program initiatives, including the Student Ambassador Program, Coffee Chats, and the Student Blog.
- Support the delivery and administration of HR programs through project activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and quality-check program resources, documentation, and communication materials.
- Conduct research and gather information to support HR initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare materials for HR project management activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Human Resources, Business, or Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Initiative and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
