About the role#
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Proposals Coordinator for a Winter 2027 co-op term. This role supports the proposal team in the coordination and development of RFx submissions. You will gain hands-on experience in business development and construction services while working under the supervision of a Proposal Supervisor or Lead.
What you'll do#
- Support the proposal team on active RFx submissions through coordination and document preparation.
- Review RFx documents to identify basic submission requirements, forms, and deadlines.
- Maintain proposal schedules, trackers, and document libraries.
- Format proposal documents using templates, branding standards, and style guides.
- Manage document control and versioning in SharePoint and internal systems.
- Assemble proposal submissions, including compiling content and packaging deliverables.
- Take notes during proposal meetings and track action items.
- Conduct quality checks for formatting consistency and completeness.
- Update content libraries, such as project profiles and resumes.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil).
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to work within structured processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Comfort working in a team environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
- An interest in learning about proposal development or the construction and utilities industry.
