About the role#
As a Fabrication Student with PCL Construction, you will join our Nassal team in Orlando for a full-time internship during the summer of 2027. This role provides hands-on experience in construction fabrication processes and project documentation.
What you'll do#
- Review work orders and shop drawings to ensure all necessary information is ready for fabrication.
- Update deliverable lists in the Inventory Management software and provide tags to foremen.
- Assist with cost projections and determine trackable production units for specific scopes of work.
- Perform routine checks to ensure items meet specifications and save documentation in project folders.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Model a solution-oriented and profitability-focused approach to your work.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with construction industry software and OSHA regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
