About the role#
Forward Deployed Software Engineers work directly with customers to identify their most critical challenges and implement data-driven solutions. You will operate within small teams to own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to significant operations while gaining insight into complex industries and institutions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific problems and design effective solutions.
- Discuss system architecture with engineering peers and manage large-scale data.
- Develop custom web applications to support project objectives.
- Engage with customer executives to establish team strategy.
- Take ownership of real-world projects and outcomes with minimal supervision.
What you'll need#
- Active Full Scope Poly Level clearance.
- Current enrollment in an engineering-focused degree, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Ability to work independently, learn continuously, and make decisions with minimal direction.
