About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer intern, you will work directly with customers to solve high-stakes challenges. You will operate within small, agile teams, taking ownership of the execution and implementation of projects that leverage business-critical data and the latest advancements in AI. You will be held to the same performance standards as full-time engineers and will contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts customer missions.
What you'll do#
- Build software and deliver outcomes for customers.
- Help customers deploy AI-powered solutions to solve complex, real-world problems.
- Architect and build technical solutions that utilize business-critical data.
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products such as Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo.
- Own the end-to-end implementation of projects within an agile team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or a completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related Engineering field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities.
