About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer intern, you will work directly with customers to solve their most difficult technical challenges. You will join small teams to build software and deliver outcomes that change how organizations operate. This role offers the autonomy of a startup backed by the resources of an established company. You will be treated as a full member of the engineering team with ownership over high-stakes projects.
What you'll do#
- Build software and deliver customer outcomes.
- Work on real problems and help customers deploy AI-powered solutions.
- Architect and build solutions that leverage business-critical data and the latest advancements in AI.
- Contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products like Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo.
- Work in small teams and own the execution and implementation of high-stakes projects.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or have received a degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities.
