Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship

About the role#

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) intern, you will work at the intersection of complex problem-solving and technology. This role involves embedding with customers to understand their most pressing challenges and architecting solutions that leverage business-critical data and the latest advancements in AI. You will function as a full member of the engineering team, operating with autonomy in small, agile groups to own the execution of high-stakes projects.

What you'll do#

• Build software and deliver direct outcomes for customers.
• Contribute high-quality code to core products such as Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo.
• Work on real-world problems, helping customers deploy AI-powered solutions.
• Architect and implement solutions that address critical industry challenges.
• Own the execution and implementation of projects from start to finish.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or have received a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience applying AI through coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities.
