About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer intern, you will work directly with customers to solve their most pressing technical challenges. You will sit at the intersection of complex problems and software solutions, embedding with teams to build tools that help organizations use their data to drive impact. This role offers the opportunity to gain insight into critical industries while contributing to projects that span from ideation to final deployment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on architecture and design decisions.
- Wrangle massive-scale data and use AI to accelerate critical operations.
- Develop custom applications tailored to specific customer needs.
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders, ranging from technical teams to executives.
- Shape team strategy and drive projects from initial concept to deployment.
What you'll need#
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Ability and interest to travel up to 25% to client sites.
