About the role#
As a Product Design intern for the US Government team, you will work on product teams with minimal supervision and own the end-to-end execution of real product features. You will be integrated into the design process from early conceptualization through to final visual execution. This role requires working closely with product managers and engineers to refine and evolve the quality of software products.
What you'll do#
- Define early product concepts and execute visual designs for complex features.
- Conduct informal user research, including visiting customer offices to learn from users and understand their needs.
- Collaborate with product and forward-deployed engineers to realize design ideas and build out products.
- Be flexible with research processes and methodologies to achieve the right outcomes.
- Design and prototype using tools such as Figma.
What you'll need#
- Must be planning on graduating in 2028.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project.
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript.
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Industrial Design.
