About the role#
As an intern on the Defense Tech team, you will contribute to the Gotham product. You will work within small teams of software engineers to build mission-critical tools for defense partners. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to execution and shipping. You will be paired with a mentor to support your growth.
What you'll do#
- Support the delivery of defense capabilities to critical mission partners.
- Write and contribute high-quality code to the Gotham product.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand and solve customer problems.
- Engage with small teams to focus on specific aspects of the product, such as geospatial mapping or release infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Active US Security clearance or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
