About the role#
Software Engineers at Palantir build software at scale to transform how organizations use data. As an intern, you will contribute code directly to products like Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo. You will work within small teams and have a mentor to support your growth. We value independent decision-making and the ability to ask questions.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of projects from initial idea and design through to execution and shipping.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to understand and solve customer problems.
- Meet with users to learn about their mission and specific difficulties.
- Partner with business development teams to address customer needs.
- Write clean, effective code and learn new languages as projects evolve.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals.
