About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute high-quality code to core products, including Palantir Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo. You will work within small teams to build software that powers data-driven decisions for institutions across the public and private sectors. You will be paired with a mentor to support your professional growth throughout the internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to execution and shipping.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to understand complex problems and build effective solutions.
- Engage directly with users to understand their mission and technical challenges, which may include site visits to observe operations.
- Partner with business development teams to address specific customer needs.
- Manage projects from start to finish, demonstrating ownership and resilience in the face of obstacles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Denver, Colorado.
