About the role#
Software Engineer interns contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir products, including Gotham, Foundry, and Apollo. You will work within small teams to build software at scale that is deployed across public and private sectors. You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial idea generation and design to execution and shipping.
What you'll do#
- Write and ship high-quality, effective code for production systems.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers.
- Engage directly with users to understand their mission, identify challenges, and build products that address their specific needs.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle while receiving mentorship to support your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with a planned graduation year of 2028.
- An engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
