About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Summer 2027 internship program in Farmers Branch, Texas. You will work with our radar simulation team to develop the Radar Toolkit, our application for simulating airborne radar systems and other sensors. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role where you will be paired with a mentor to help build new technologies for our products.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain application-level software for radar and sensor simulation.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, and testing.
- Collaborate with your team to integrate software components.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for your work.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or Junior status in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program with at least two years of progress toward your degree.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with C or C++ programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with export-controlled technology.
- A foundation in mathematics and physics is desired.
- Familiarity with radar technology, signal processing, OpenGL, or real-time multi-processing systems is a plus.
- Experience with geographic data processing, defect tracking systems, and configuration management tools like Git or Perforce is helpful.
