Procurement & Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

The Procurement & Supply Chain Intern will support the procurement team at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant. This role involves assisting with material coordination, technical and commercial procurement, and contributing to data-driven business decisions through research, forecasting, and reporting.

What you'll do#

• Create and manage SAP procurement master data to improve purchase order logistics and business processes.
• Perform data analysis and clean-up tasks to support team operations.
• Analyze material usage trends to identify and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize storage and investment recovery processes.
• Participate in process improvement and quality control initiatives.
• Assist in retrieving technical drawings and researching material history.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a B.S. degree program for Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or related engineering disciplines.
• Must be continuing education towards a degree during or after the internship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams) and Access.
• Knowledge of database management and data analysis.
• Ability to follow Safety First principles.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $24.52 – $35.37 per hour.
