About the role#
The Intake & Agency Reporting team sits within the Compliance Excellence organization at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. This team serves as the primary contact for the California Public Utilities Commission Safety Enforcement Division regarding audits and data requests. Interns will assist in optimizing management controls, work plans, and training to support effectively managed work. The role involves implementing Lean Six Sigma and PMP methodologies to drive compliance excellence across internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a structured framework for measuring data quality and conducting analytics.
- Accelerate the team's ability to identify trends, improve response accuracy, and strengthen audit readiness.
- Assist in fostering talent development in a cost-effective manner.
- Gain exposure to the broader Electric Engineering organization through collaborative work with experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Commitment to continuing education during and after the internship term.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
