Intake & Agency Reporting Intern

About the role#

The Intake & Agency Reporting Intern joins the Compliance Excellence organization to support the team that serves as the primary contact for the CPUC’s Safety Enforcement Division. This role focuses on optimizing management controls, work plans, and standards. You will contribute to the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and PMP methodologies to drive compliance excellence and support regulatory audit readiness.

What you'll do#

• Support the development of a structured framework for measuring data quality and conducting analytics.
• Help the team identify trends, improve response accuracy, and strengthen audit readiness.
• Assist in fostering talent development initiatives in a cost-effective manner.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain insight into the broader Electric Engineering organization.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Must be continuing education towards your degree during and after the internship.
• Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Compensation: $24.52 to $35.37 per hour.
