About the role#
The Social Content Development Intern is a creative, hands-on role for a student interested in video production and content creation. You will support the development of social-first content by capturing video, writing copy, and helping share stories across various platforms. This position provides experience in brand storytelling and social strategy within a large organization.
What you'll do#
- Capture short-form video and photo content using mobile and lightweight production tools.
- Edit video content for formats including Reels, Stories, TikTok, and other short-form posts.
- Draft and refine social media copy to complement visual content.
- Adapt content to meet platform-specific formats, tones, and audience expectations.
- Demonstrate an understanding of content performance trends across different social platforms.
- Support content ideation, asset organization, and daily coordination for social publishing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program for Video Production, Film, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field.
- Must be returning to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in video creation and content development.
- Strong interest in social media, storytelling, and digital content creation.
- Familiarity with major social platforms and current social trends.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred experience includes familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or Canva.

- Term: Summer 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $20.88 to $26.02 per hour.
