About the role#
Procurement Business Partners serve as a link between the procurement team and internal stakeholders to align strategies, manage suppliers, and support business objectives. As an intern, you will support the team by improving operational efficiency, refining documentation, and translating complex workflows into actionable insights.
What you'll do#
- Organize and maintain SharePoint files to improve document accuracy, version control, and team usability.
- Review the Procurement Business Partner Playbook from a user perspective to identify gaps and provide actionable feedback.
- Design high-impact, one-page process guides to assist the team in preparing for Monthly Operating Reviews.
- Inventory existing templates and tools to identify outdated materials and help standardize team resources.
- Develop simplified diagrams for key processes, such as MSAs, CWAs, Change Orders, BPOs, and SOWs, to clarify stakeholder handoffs and decision points.
- Support continuous improvement by conducting data discovery and basic analysis to identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Communications, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be continuing education towards a degree during or after the internship term.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in both cumulative and major coursework.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal direction.
