About the role#
This is a part-time, temporary position based at our corporate headquarters in Boston. You will report to the Sourcing Manager and support the procurement team with daily operations, including communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
What you'll do#
- Create dashboards and tracking templates for new policies and procedures.
- Review new vendors to determine eligibility based on company policy.
- Track and approve invoices.
- Manage day-to-day changes with vendors.
- Lead a project specifically defined for the duration of your internship.
- Assist with category management maintenance and track spend changes.
- Issue RFPs and perform bid analysis.
- Track and report on monthly KPIs.
- Help promote the adoption of new policies.
- Review electronic transactions daily to ensure compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate program for business, supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP or CMMS systems, dashboards, or PowerBI.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
