About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern, you will support our team by managing essential administrative tasks. You will work closely with our HR Team Lead and Director to help us maintain our operations. This role is remote, so you should be comfortable coordinating through tools like Zoom and Slack. We ask for a commitment of at least 5 hours per week for 6 months, including one 30-40 minute weekly meeting.
What you'll do#
- Screen and evaluate applicants to find good-fit candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for our interns and volunteers.
- Keep internal paperwork and documentation organized.
- Assist with additional HR projects based on your interests.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with HR functions like creating training plans, interviewing, or compiling employee data.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- You must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
- Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
