About the role#
This internship offers a look into how a food manufacturing line operates. You will work on projects based on current business needs, such as process improvements for yield and waste reduction. You will gain experience in a food manufacturing environment and conclude the term by presenting project results to the corporate management team.
What you'll do#
- Collect, document, and transfer test results from external sources to internal files.
- Perform data collection and track quality metrics.
- Draft, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
- Log incoming raw materials into a database daily.
- Perform sample preparation testing.
- Learn and apply auditing standards and techniques.
- Analyze audit data to identify trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and work groups.
- Prepare a final presentation on your project results.
What you'll need#
