About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Maintenance Internship for Summer 2027 based in Geneva, Illinois. You will work on-site to gain experience in industrial equipment maintenance. The role involves project-based work that shifts based on business needs. You will conclude the internship by presenting your project findings to the corporate management team.
What you'll do#
- Maintain industrial equipment and support building processes.
- Work on large industrial refrigeration systems.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and diagnose necessary repairs.
- Document maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Conduct data analysis and participate in process improvement projects.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation on your project results to corporate management.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to follow plant safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working in industrial manufacturing environments with temperature fluctuations.
- Ability to wear proper PPE.
